Peter Haase, another writer at the Local Authors booth,  has turned his life experiences into novels.  His love for sailing and being on the open seas,  spurred by his passion for writing turned into two books. In, “Call of the Sea,” Peter recounts some of his sailing experiences, In, “Eleven Years Afloat,”  Peter writes about adventures in his own boat — he says in vivid details.

In, “Rostock, City by the Sea, The Story of a Young German,” Peter retraces the first three decades of his life in Germany. he says this is not only a memoir, but a chronicle of dark times in Germany.
