Happy Tails Ranch specializes in raising bison in nearby Okeechobee. Many beef lovers are turning to bison since it contains less fat and is a healthy alternative.

Learning process

The goal for Happy Tails is to educate market goers about their product with brochures and  information about bison meat and they sell freshly frozen ground bison as well as bison steaks at the market.

Local restaurant, Ellies Downtown Deli, serves bison burgers and will occasionally set up for lunch at the market to highlight burgers made with bison from Happy Tails.
