The STUART GREEN MARKET will host a Classic Car Show on Sunday, August 1st from 9am to 1pm. Come view some of these old beauties and talk to the owners. There are fewer and fewer of these antiques around. music will feature Two Pony Rig. Jim and Donna Mayfield are diligent about learning more tunes everyday and have built their playlist to include classic folk rock/country/you name it. Jim is master of the acoustic guitar and vocals. Donna can cover some of the great female vocalists and can adapt tunes that fit her style — often improving a good thing.
A Cooling Station will be available for participants and customers. This mist tent makes you feel 20 degrees cooler and only uses about one gallon of water/hour.
The Stuart Green Market is open every Sunday year-round. Vendors include fresh produce, lovely house plants, local honey, salf free spices, key lime cakes,exotic bromeliads and orchids, boiled peanuts, fresh crab cakes, locally grown bison meat, delicious Caribbean jerk food, crepes, Italian Ice, baked goods and many arts & craft items including hand crafted jewelry, sundresses, local authors, beautiful art work including Highwaymen paintings, and more. Throughout the summer we also offer a welcome Cooling Station to keep you cool and comfortable while shopping our local vendors. So come for breakfast and stay for lunch at the Stuart Green Market where it is “Your Sunday Morning Rendezvous!!”
