The crust-filled pockets she bakes fresh for the market are just the beginning at Empanadas Etc.  Snacks and meals to meet many tastes include chimichurri and cuban subs.

Guava goodness

Empanadas Etc offers a variety of a few different types of pastries. The apple turnovers are great and the star of the show has to be the guava pastries.  Eleni points out she makes the fillings from scratch because this is how she gets the best tasting pastries,  and is able to make her products affordable.

Freshness brings them back

Some customers think the lightly-layered pastry/fresh guava filling combo is worth a king’s ransom.  Others look for empanadas  as their Sunday treat.  It is back to basics for Empanadas  Etc customers, who make their weekly trip to this booth at the Stuart Green Market.  Elena makes everything homemade fresh.
